Makes about 3 1/2 cups

8 Tbs ( 1 stick) butter
1 1/2 cups Malibu rum  or dark rum
1 c packed brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup sliced fruit, such as bananas, strawberries, or pineapple

Combine the butter, rum, and brown sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring often, until the sugar dissolves. Stir in the pecans and fruit. Top grilled or un-grilled pound cake with sauce. Top with whatever makes you happy……ice cream, whipped cream, ricotta, etc.
